Pennsylvania Blue downs Missouri Blue for the Junior Women Dual Freestyle Title

Pennsylvania Blue took home the title after a solid day 2 with wins over Arizona and California Blue … a 3-way tie in Pool A of the Gold/Silver Pool put PA into the finals ahead of Colorado (who beat them 36-33) and California Blue. After that they downed Missouri Blue (Pool B winner in the Gold/Silver Pool) 38-31 for the title.

Florida looked outstanding on Day 2 after coming up just short of making the top 8 on Day 1. Florida lost early on Day 1, but battled back to wrestle Colorado for True 2nd in Pool C. That loss did not deter them though as they finished the tournament 2-2 and 10th overall. Georgia Blue finished Day 2 3-1 and 3rd in the Red/Blue Pool after taking 5th in Pool B on Day 1. South Carolina, Georgia Red, and North Carolina battled in the Green/Yellow Pool on Day 2 with South Carolina finishing 3rd (and 3-1 on day 2), Georgia Red taking 7th, and NC finishing 8th. Tennessee and Alabama finished their tournament in the Purple Pool. Tennessee beat Alabama 43-17 to take 2nd in the pool behind Minnesota.
