State of the Program - Bridges Prep (SC)

Coaching Staff:

Alex Hagan

  • James Driscoll

  • Cooper Kaminsky

  • Dan Puccini

2023 Recap:

Individuals:

  • Jeremiah Chavez - SQ at 220

Graduated:

2023-2024

Returners (Grade):

  • No Roster Provided

We didn’t receive a roster from Coach Hagan so it is difficult to know who returns and who does not. Jeremiah Chavez was the first qualifier for Bridges in several years and if he returns I’d expect him to make a run back to the state tournament and be looking to make the podium in 2024. Based on the quote above - it looks like the numbers are growing at Bridges Prep and the future is bright. - SEWrestle

  • 140-145 Tabitha Schmitt - 10

  • 235 Ama Conteh - 11

Most of our team is underclassmen including 5 freshmen, two of which came up through our youth program.

Lots of excitement around the Hillgrove women’s program. Still a long way to go in terms of hunting a top 10 finish or anything, but Coach Keith and Coach Valentine are slowly building the foundation are excited about the possibilities. Ama Conteh and Tabitha Schmitt return and both will look to punch their ticket to Macon this season. Don’t be surprised if a few new faces pop up and surprise a few people in 2024. - SEWrestle

  • 135 Sloane Parton - 9

  • 145 Grace Whaley - 11

  • 155 Alexzandriyah Kekoanui - 11

Young squad that returns 4 from a year ago. Alexzandriyah Kekoanui leads the way for East Coweta this coming season. She qualified in 2023 and will be looking to make the podium in 2024. Grace Whaley is another one to watch. She was injured early in the 22-23 season and missed an opportunity to make a statement last year. Look for her to do that this year. Two other names to watch are senior Isabella Carcioppolo and freshman Sloane Parton. - SEWrestle
