  • 125-130 Leticia Tercero - Jr

  • 140-145 Linda Tercero - Sr

  • 190-235 Taylor Schiesser - Sr

Gilmer returns the firepower to make a run at a title in 2024. Taylor Schiesser is the returning 190 lb. state champ, but has been sidelined this summer and fall with an injury. If she returns this team has the ability to make a run. Both Tercero’s and Solis finished on the podium and if they can push to the top step … look out. Josephine Royer punched her ticket to Macon in 2023 and will be called on to climb onto the podium this season. With 5 hammers - this team will be in the mix, but to really establish themselves they a few new faces to step up and make some noise in 23-24. - SEWrestle

With Liha Penaloza returning, AL Brown has a trio that will look to build a solid foundation for the program’s future success. - SEWrestle

  • 152 Paloma Ramirez

First “official” season for the NC women, but as a group they’ve been wrestling for quite some time … so we can look back at those past results to help us understand the landscape. That includes the Pisgah crew. Treyleigh Miller and Kayla Figgins both qualified for the last women’s showcase last year and Paloma Ramirez came within a match of making the podium … so this Pisgah crew is ready to go this season. Keep an eye on Aiyana Bryant as well as Aleah Stafford and Emanhi Hollis … those six with a bunch of new faces has to make the Pisgah program excited about the possibilities. - SEWrestle
