Good back and forth action to begin the dual between Jasper and Southside. Southside put up 19 points and Jasper had 16 at the halfway point in the dual. Bonus points were huge for both squads, but it was a tough 5-1 decision by Peyton Adams over David Baradell that put Southside in control at the midway point of the dual … unfortunately for Southside that would be it except for a fall in the last match of the dual by Eli Carter. Jasper took control at 157 by with a fall from Garrett Caldwell and then poured it on with falls from Carter Livingston, Carter Reed, and Tyson Phillips as well as an 11-6 decision by Luke Horsley. Jasper takes the win 49-25 to advance to the 5A Semifinals.
