SE Nov 2020 Rankings
Ranking wrestlers across multiple states can be challenging. Ranking during the fall (football) and during Covid makes this especially difficult. In an effort to be as transparent as possible, I have included a screenshot of a section of the information I’ve pulled for each weight class. I focused on 5 events that, I believe, provide an adequate sample of quality wrestling over the last several months. Those 5 events include:
Super 32
Grappler Fall Classic
Georgia Super 32 Early Entry (EE) Tournament
Florida Super 32 Early Entry (EE) Tournament
Chaos Duals
Other events helped provide some information, but the bulk of the ranking is based on these 5 events plus last year’s post-season (e.g. state tournaments). The other events include Deep South Duals, Rocky Mountain Nationals, Battle of the Burgh, River Rumble, etc. Normally, NHSCA’s and Fargo would play an important role in the rankings, but neither took place in 2020.
