Camden County claimed their 7th consecutive State Duals Championship and their 5th in a row in 7A with a domination of the bracket. They beat Archer and Lowndes with little problem and then downed a very talented West Forsyth team 63-12.
Buford won the deepest class in Georgia with an outstanding run that included wins over Richmond Hill, Alexander, and then Creekview. Buford reclaimed the duals title after missing out the last couple of years.
Woodland looked absolutely dominant en route to their 3rd consecutive State Duals Title. They beat Walnut Grove and Ola before taking out a very talented Cass team in the finals.
Jefferson finished out their “revenge tour” with a dominating win over region foe Flowery Branch in the finals. Jefferson had won 18 consecutive State Duals titles until last year when they were beaten in the semis. Their step back to the top step came with domination.
North Hall fought off a very talented Gilmer team to claim their 2nd consecutive state duals title. North Hall beat Greater Atlanta Christian and Sonoraville before downing a gritty Gilmer team.
Oglethorpe County is the one of the newest team on the top step. The Patriots had never previously won a state duals title, but worked their way through a tough 2A bracket to take home the 2021 edition. They beat Toombs County and Lovett before taking out Dade County for the title.
Mt Pisgah Christian is the other new face on top of the podium. They have assembled an outstanding team from top to bottom and held off a very good 1A bracket to claim the title - beating 1A standard-bearer Commerce in the finals.
