Union County Girls claim the Tennessee East Region Title

Union County held off Alcoa and Gibbs to claim the Tennessee East Region title this past Saturday. Union County put 7 girls on the podium including Kayla Faulkner, Brianna Cook, and Lesley White who each punched their ticket to the state tournaments in a few weeks. Alcoa placed all 4 of their wrestlers in the top 4 (meaning State Qualifier) with East Region Champ Emma Young leading the way. Haley Redmond led the way for Gibbs as they finished 3rd with 3 State Qualifiers.
