One's to Watch this weekend in Florida 2A

I don’t have enough time to write a Fan’s Guide for the Florida Regional Tournaments, but that doesn’t mean I am not watching from Chattanooga as I cover the Tennessee State Tournament. I’m sure Brant Parsons and Shannon Heaton are working tirelessly to put something together for all of the Florida fans out there.

So I’ve decided to share with you - one wrestler from each team in each region that I am watching. This won’t be returning State Champs like Lucas Willis, Brendan Abdon, Braden Basile, or Tom or Jack Crook, etc. … I will talk more about those kids when I do the SEWrestle Fan’s Guide next week for each classification. The ones to watch are wrestlers that might be a little off the radar (perhaps they are a returning State Qualifier and really need to win this weekend to set themselves up for a run at a spot on the podium or they are a wrestler that hasn’t made the big dance yet - but look like they could this weekend). I am interested to see how they wrestle this weekend for a number of reasons: maybe they have a good draw and have an opportunity to make the state tournament … or maybe they have a tough quarterfinal and I am interested to see if they win - and if they don’t can they fight their way back through the bracket.

Look for my Fan’s Guide next week, but in the mean time - keep an eye on these wrestlers … see if they don’t surprise you (by winning the region, punching their ticket, or fighting their way through the bracket).
