Welcome to the North Carolina Fan’s Guides
Congrats to the wrestlers, coaches, parents, and everyone else on completing a very strange season. When it was announced in the fall that North Carolina sports were being pushed back to the spring and that wrestling wouldn’t finish until June, I thought the chances of the season finishing were in real jeopardy. Each of you has persevered and this Saturday is the culmination of a long, hard-fought battle. Best of luck to everyone competing. The authors of the Fan’s Guides have worked tirelessly over the last 4 days in an effort to highlight those individuals that have made it to this final weekend. Thank you to Ryan Mitchell, Ryan Hayes, Rhett Hoy, and Cheryl Baynard, as well as the others that emailed me their thoughts regarding the team race, individual brackets, and who we should all be watching this weekend.
