South Carolina’s Zao Estrada #25 in Pound-For-Pound Rankings

Estrada is the only SE wrestler to make the pound-for-pound list. Estrada is at FloWrestling’s Who’s #1 event this weekend where she will take on Illinois’ Cadence Diduch. Estrada is ranked #2 at 112 and Diduch is ranked #6 at 117 (the match is listed at 117).

Estrada is one of 5 South Carolina girls to make the pre-season rankings. That is third best in the SE behind Tennesse and Florida. Tennessee has 10 and Florida has 9 girls ranked in the top 25 of their weight. Joining Estrada at the Who’s #1 event is 94 lb. 16U National Champ Valarie Solorio - formerly of Arnold High School and now wrestling at Wyoming Seminary in Pennsylvania. Solorio will wrestle Erica Pastoriza who is ranked #10 at 100 lbs. Solorio is ranked #17 at 100 lbs., but both ladies will compete at the WNO event at 94 lbs.
