North Carolina State Duals Elite 8

The Elite 8 and Final 4 in each of the 4 classification will be wrestled Wednesday evening. We have pulled the “probable” lineups for each team so you can see a side by side comparison of each teams Elite 8 match. We say probable lineups for a number of reasons … 1) coaches keep lineups to themselves for the most part and often look for the best possible “individual” matchups … so they only share in generalities - as a result we have taken these weights from rankwrestlers.com, 2) these teams just wrestled on Monday - so questions like - who is watching their weight, who is “banged up”, etc. are things to consider and are simply things we do not know so we go with a “possible lineup”, and 3) where possible we included another wrestler … for those of you that haven’t coached … this is a generally universal thing to do to give your team “options” as you move through the dual.

So don’t be set on these being the individual matchups in each dual … but they could be.
