“Not everything that can be counted counts and not everything that counts can be counted”
Meaning that small incremental changes can be more meaningful qualitatively than large changes in numbers. Ultimately we are driven by numbers when making decisions … so they don’t count for “nothing”, but keeping perspective on the types of changes happening is huge in crafting the story.
