Brackets

Seeds (top 8):

  1. Iowa

  2. Illinois

  3. Minnesota Blue

  4. Tennessee

  5. Pennsylvania Blue

  6. Utah

  7. California

  8. Wisconsin

Within Pool Seeds:

NOTE: The top 2 from each pool advance to the Gold/Silver Pool and are “All Americans”. Each pool will wrestle for “True 2nd” - meaning that if the 3rd place team has not wrestled the 2nd place team in the bracket then they will wrestle a dual at the end of day 1 to determine who advances.

Pool A

  1. Iowa

  2. Wisconsin

  3. Washington

  4. Oklahoma Red

Alabama and South Carolina share Pool A with the overall #1 seed Iowa. But both are on the bottom side of the bracket … Alabama will wrestle Washington in the Quarters and South Carolina draws Wisconsin in the opening round (they should be one of the first teams on the mat first thing tomorrow morning).

Pool B

  1. Illinois

  2. California

  3. Michigan Blue

  4. Colorado

Georgia Red and North Carolina are in Pool B with each drawing the top two teams in the pool in the opening round. Illinois faces Georgia Red and North Carolina will get California to begin the day.

Pool C

  1. Minnesota Blue

  2. Utah

  3. Ohio

  4. Missouri

No “SE” teams in pool C, but if you are interested - check out Louisiana and Arkansas - both of whom are in this pool. Louisiana draws Utah in the opening round and Arkansas will take on the winner of Minnesota Blue and Texas B in the quarters.

Pool D

  1. Tennessee

  2. Pennsylvania Blue

  3. Georgia Black

  4. Idaho

That leaves Georgia Black, Tennessee, and Florida all in Pool D. Tennessee is the overall #4 seed in the tournament and draws a Michigan Red squad in the opening round. Florida will take on Idaho in the quarters with Tennessee as a potential semifinal. Georgia Black draws Virginia with the winner getting either PA Blue or South Dakota Blue.
