Returners (Grade):

  • None provided

We didn’t a list of returners from Coach Rogers … so we will fill this in as well as we can with the knowledge we have. Hough lost some outstanding hammers with the graduation of State Placer Brandt Fajerman and State Qualifiers Tyler Caldwell and Jason Sanders. But Hough has traditionally been an exceptionally deep and talented team (just look above at their state qualifier chart … they have had 6 or more qualifiers every year since 2017). State Placers Jackson Rowling and Bo Schiano will both be back and will look to take that next step and be on top of the podium (Rowling was 2nd as a freshman two years ago). This is where we get a little uncertain about who is returning and who is not … we will assume if they wrestled in the post-season that they will be back (but that is certainly not always the case). State Qualifier Giancarlo Evans could play a very important role for the Huskies in helping to pack and 1-2 punch at the top of the lineup with Schiano. If Hough returns 6 that competed in the 4A West Region Tournament and each continues to develop then this is a team that can make some noise in 2024. Keep an eye out for Cody Bui, Gibson Davis, Abe Frederick, Nate Quiroz, Auggie Rahaim, and Quinn Schiano. - SEWrestle
