Talented group returns with 3 State Placers and 2 other State Qualifiers. Coach Allen’s squad has all of the pieces to put in a run for a top 10 finish in 2024 and has the depth to be in the hunt on the dual side as well. State Placers Jasper Croom, Xander Hawkes, and Collin Bishop lead the squad and each will be looking to climb to the top of the podium in 2024. Hawkes, Bishop, and Stte Qualifier DJ Richardson are all senior looking to finish their high school careers on top. Croom and State Qualifier Jordan Haigler are talented underclassmen that will look to take their next step in 2024 … for Croom that’s a state title, for Haigler that’s making the podium. Those five will lead the way, but where the team finishes will likely come down to how well the rest of the crew competes in 2023-2024. Reis Suskey, Troy Carroll, Terence Hinton, Anthony Bedoya, Nic Roeder, Nias Dorsey, and Christian Ajose-Adeogun all have post-season experience and will look to punch their ticket to Kissimmee this year. Don’t be surprised to see Floria High with as many as 9 on the mats in March. Keep an eye on 8th grader John Cheney who will look to make some noise as well. - SEWrestle
