The rebuild at Collins Hill has begun and Coach Millhof has the Eagles ready to take off and challenge in Georgia 7A in 2021-2022. 2x State Champ Clint Gilbert is gone, but Millhof has a solid group of young talent ready to step up. State Placer Richard Ransom should lead the team in 2021-2022 and should be hunting for the top step on the podium in February.
State Qualifiers Michael Medrala, Jonathan Oviedo, and Jaylen George will look to take the next step and climb onto the podium in 2022. How high the Eagles climb might come down to the progression of Andrew Malooley, Nasir Korengay, and Avant Jackson as well as the next group that is coming through.
“This year we are looking to keep moving forward. Taking over the first year of COVID was challenging but we managed and got through it. We had an awesome summer with guys really starting to buy-in and believe in themselves. We have all the athletic talent in the world, now it’s time to put it all together for a great season!”
