The Bears return 4 State Qualifiers, but lose their leader from 2021 in State Placer Gavin Strain to graduation. That means the Bears will need for at least one of the four returners to step up and lead a young group in 2021-2022. David Latimer is a returning 2x State Qualifier and had multiple wins in Huntsville a year ago. Jadon Hill, Keviar Richardson, and Caiden Arnold also return after making the trip to Huntsville and will be counted on to make an impact in 2022. Keep an eye on Issac Lutz in the middle of the Bears lineup as well.
“The team is really young and inexperienced, we’ve had success in the past when we have a had a few wrestlers step up. The hope is we have some kids who want to take on that role.”
