South Davidson finished a crazy 20-21 season 7th in 1A East and 6th at the 1A State Tournament - solely through the points of State Champ Tristan Hale and State Runner-up Timmy Freeze. Freeze has graduated, but Hale returns looking to claim another title in 2022. As Coach House says, “He (Hale) will be a catalyst in helping build the program back to prominence.” Keep an eye on Joe Smith who scored points at the East Region in 2021 as well as Zach Lewis and Joseph Akers - they will be counted on to help lay the foundation for future success at South Davidson.
“I believe this year will can be pretty good. With 1 returning State Champion and some guys coming back out after a crazy year and some new faces in the mix this year could be a good year for the Wildcats. “Brick by Brick we are laying the foundation to something special”. ”
