After a few challenging seasons … Alcoa is on the move back up. They qualified three a year ago including a pair of freshmen in Jon Sanchez and Kenny Harris. They also feature a lot of returners. If Alcoa is going to take that next step and push into the 1A top 20 they will need several of those returners to step up and make some noise this season. Keep an eye on a trio of freshmen as well … Darius Sudderth, Isaac Irwin, and Patrick Collins will look to break into the lineup and follow Sanchez and Harris as freshmen state qualifiers. - SEWrestle

The dogs of Susan Moore lose two significant pieces from last year’s squad - State Placer Camden Hamric and State Qualifier Anthony Flores. Coach Ingram does return freshman State Qualifier Alfredo Rodriguez as well as sectional qualifiers Parker Rhodes and Jackson Barnes. This will likely be a very young team that will grow a ton as the season progresses. Rodriguez will look to take the next step and climb onto the podium and Rhodes and Barnes will look to punch their tickets to Huntsville this season. - SEWrestle

Consistently one of the best programs in Tennessee and the entire SE. Coach Harrison sets the bar high and the boys from Christian Brothers always work to top it. This year’s group has a stellar Senior class that is headlined by returning State Champion Drake Bowers, State Placer Jack Branson, and State Qualifiers Iggy Smout and Erasmo Cortez. But the strength of every Christian Brothers squad is the distribution of talent throughout from seniors to freshmen. Returning State Placer Mason Butler was 3rd a year ago and will be hunting the top step in 2024. He headlines a solid junior class that includes State Qualifiers Hudson Salvaggio and Robert Hutton. The sophomores includes three that qualified as freshmen in Findley Smout, Wilson Jamison, and Ari Bichelman as well as heavyweight Austin Williams. And not to be outdone keep an eye on a pair of freshman that will look to make some noise in Joe Drewry and Isaiah Waycaster. - SEWrestle
