Lightweights at U15 is going to be outstanding. Two of the top PIN ratings for U15 Freestyle are both a 41 kg with Manny Novelli and Keegan Bassett. But 44 kg might be the deepest with Dinges, Dobbs, Karenbauer, Carver, as well as Traveon Ducking of Indiana and others. 48 kg looks like the weight that is most wide open and there are a number of SE hammers that could make a run there.

Several outstanding weights in U17. 65 kg may not have the top end talent we see at 51 and 60 kilos, but it is super deep. Koch, Barrows, etc. are also joined by Colton Weiler of Wisconsin and SE hammer Nate Askew (of Georgia? of North Carolina? of Tennessee? … Askew has been at Baylor, but is listed as Tar Heel Wrestling Club. He has committed to the Tar Heels … and now lists NC as his state … so has he moved there and will be competing for Tar Heel WC this coming year … no clue). Georgia’s Blue Stiffler, Tennessee’s Malachi Puckett and South Carolina’s Houston Rudisill are others from the SE to keep an eye on. 65 kg will be fun to watch and should provide some outstanding matches this coming week.

60 kg features hammers in Thomas Verrette and Jordyn Raney … but keep an eye on Georgia’s Josiah Boyden. Boyden has the ability to compete with any of them. 51 kg has Landers and Munaretto as well as Max Francisco and Saxton Scott. Keep an eye on Arseni Kikinou of California as well as a SE hammer to watch in Mac Johnson of North Carolina. 80 kg should be fun to watch for the SE … Max Norman is chasing McFarland and Sherlock for the title. Keep an eye on Tennessee’s Cy Fowler and Georgia’s Ryder Wilder. Wilder didn’t know much Greco a year ago when he hit Fargo and was impressive at Cadets … a year under his belt and the field better keep an eye on him.
