A Fan’s Guide to the Division 2 Class 1A-2A State Duals … there are “possible” lineups below, but don’t be set on those being the weights for each wrestler as coaches have a tendency to move kids around if they need to find a better individual matchup to help them win the dual. I also reached out to a few coaches in Tennessee to give me their thoughts … those are in quotes.
The one thing I heard over and over was …
“ The one thing I know is LAKEWAY is loaded. They have to be looked at as the tournament favorite.”
And to be fair … they are loaded. On paper it looks as if they forfeit 2 weights - 113 and 220 (with the ability of one of their 195’s to bump up if needed). But the Lions have some outstanding individuals and will be tough to beat. Both Gumlick’s, Colby Dalon, and Jay Eversole join nationally-ranked Brayden Ivy and Keyveon Roller in the lineup. Below are some of the matchups that should be fun to watch.

Battle Ground Academy vs. Lakeway Christian
Battle Ground Academy might be overmatched in this dual, but they could make some headway up top. Keep an eye on the matchups from 170-285 … down low Lakeway is as talented as anyone.
