Dora tops Ranburne for the 1A-4A Title
Dora’s hammers kicked them off Connor Roberts had a fall and Damon Clayton had a major decision and Dora led the dual 10-0 before Ranburne could get on the board. John Lexin Caldwell and Zack Buchanan put Ranburne on the scoreboard, but a major by Delvin Taylor and falls from Jonathan Foster and Cameron Richardson were huge to push the Dora lead to 26-9 heading to 220. Camerson Gosha pushed the Dora lead to 29-9 before Ranburne began to storm back with falls from Carson Hall, Carter Driver, and Brody Horner (as well as a major by Hunter Hulsey). Ranburn had taken the lead 31-29, but Dora knew they had Jayden Rouse and Peyton Hallman still to wrestle. Rouse and Driver (Ranburne) were 6-5 in the 3rd period when Jayden Rouse got the fall to push Dora back in front 35-31. Peyton Hallman then turned in a workmanlike performance at 132 to seal the win for Dora.
