  • at Ranburne (6:00 pm)

    • Ranburne vs. Oak Grove

    • Montevallo vs. Cleburne County

Back in the pre-season … Ranburne coaches had a bone to pick with AWF’s Jaxon Bast after he didn’t include them in his top 10. Well that score has now been settled as Ranburne tops Oak Grove and Cleburne County to push themselves into the final 4. John Lexin Caldwell and the middle of the Ranburne lineup stepped up in both duals to help the Bulldogs grab control of each dual. Caldwell, Curtis Daniel, and Zack Buchanan pushed Ranburne ahead of Cleburne County 24-9 at the halfway point after it being close early. Cleburne County’s Bryton Clay and Will Johnson narrowed the lead again to 24-21 before Ranburne turned to their hammers up top with Zaden Benefield and defending State Champion Carson Hall. A fall by Carter Driver at 106 and a tech fall by Hunter Hulsey at 113 sealed the win and Ranburne advanced.
