16U National Duals Freestyle All Tournament Team

The 2023 16U National Duals Freestyle All-Tournament team has been announced, based upon results from the 16U National Duals Greco-Roman division, held in Loves Park, Ill., on Friday and Saturday
Athletes who went undefeated in their dual meet matches in freestyle qualified for the All-Tournament Team, needing a minimum of five victories to be included.
In freestyle, there were 52 athletes on the All-Tournament Team, representing 24 different states.
A select group of wrestlers made All-Tournament Team in both styles, after also taking this honor on Thursday in Greco-Roman. The 12 double All-Tournament Team members are Kaison Scheier of Missouri (94), Lincoln Sledzianowski of Pennsylvania (106), Michael Romero of California (120), Declan Koch of Wisconsin (126), Sammy Spaulding of New Jersey (132), Brody Sendele of Illinois (145), Cason Howle of South Carolina (182), David Calkins of California (195), Michael Mocco of Florida (220), James Bechtel of Ohio (220) and Cooper Martinson of Iowa (285).
Two states had five athletes make the Freestyle All-Tournament Team, Missouri and Iowa. New Jersey had four Freestylers on All-Tournament Team. Teams with three on the All-Tournament Team were Pennsylvania, Georgia, Illinois, Texas, and Ohio. Those with two on the freestyle team were Indiana, Arkansas, California, Florida, Tennessee and Alabama. States with one on Freestyle All-Tournament Team were Tennessee, Oregon, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Kansas, Colorado, Washington, South Carolina, West Virginia and South Dakota.
Winning the most matches of the undefeated freestyle athletes with perfect 9-0 records were Hudson Chittum of Tennessee (88), Kaison Scheier of Missouri (94), Casen Bell of Indiana (100), Unle Abdirahman of Nebraska (113), Michael Romero of California (120), Chris Lalonde of Colorado (132), Yandro Soto of Florida (9-0), Evan Stanley of Indiana (132), Jackson Tucker of Missouri (138), Elijah Brown of Pennsylvania (160), David Calkins of California (195), Michael Mocco of Florida (220) and James Bechter of Ohio (220).
