Keep an eye on:
In regards to newcomers rising senior Jack Japour who moved to CHS this year has a chance to lock down a starting spot and help the team. There are several seniors looking to hold down a few spots. As far as freshman are concerned Sutton White (no relation) and Judah White have the ability to start and garner some big wins for us.
A few others that have an opportunity to make an impact are Byron Lee, Gage Kirby, Marcus Cirius, and Traeveon Martin
SEWrestle NOTE: Carrollton returns 6 that made it to Macon in 2023 including 285 lb. State Champion Jacob Levy. The biggest challenge for Carrollton is turning those qualifiers into point-getters and placers. None of the other 5 returning qualifiers scored a point in Macon last year … that must change if Carrollton is going to challenge for a top 10 finish in 2024. Things are trending in the right direction for Carrollton … time for the next step for Rayburn, Merritt, Stephens, and the rest of the crew.
