Keep an eye on:

Senior KD Pitts 285. He had to share varsity reps last year with our Senior Heavy from last season. I expect him to anchor the back of my line up. This is his 3rd year wrestling. He is also an outstanding football player and leader.

Wrestlers on the watch list. Reese Thorn 10th grader 11th year wrestling, already a 2 time state qualifier, and won gold in free and folk style at Al State Olympic games this past summer. He made a 28 on his ACT as a Freshman, and has a 4.2 GPA. He has already made college visits to Huntingdon and Life University.

Brody Edwards who is a 2 time state qualifier and Reid Ledbetter who is a state qualifier are also two to watch. They both are looking to wrestle at the next level as well.

SEWrestle NOTE: Beauregard loses Roberts and Hayes to graduation and Kaiden Holloway to transfer (moved to Georgia). But they return 3 hammers in Ledbetter, Thorn, and Edwards. Ledbetter and Thorn each won a match in Huntsville last year and will be looking to make the podium in 2024. Keep an eye on Parker VanNoy, Josh Lugo, and KD Pitts … with just 6 returners they likely won’t be competitive in duals, but on the traditional side they could make some noise.
