Mainland has had a lot of success over the last 2 years. Just 9 schools have more state qualifiers than the Bucs in the first two years of women’s wrestling in the sunshine state (obviously the girls have been wrestling for a long time … this refers to official FHSAA sponsored numbers). State Placer Cheyenne Wigley returns after taking 7th and will look to climb to the top of the podium in 2024. State Qualifier Eva Rojas also returns and will be hunting a spot on the podium as well. But if Mainland is going to break into the top 10-15 this year it will come down to how well Kyle Ratcliffe and Trinya Tillman wrestle. Tillman has sat behind a two State Placer and is certainly one to watch in 2024. Don’t be surprised to see 3 Lady Bucs on the podium. - SEWrestle
