Obviously Coach Hill knows his squad better than I do, but I don’t think I could have said it better than he did above. They lose a few qualifiers - most notably State Runner-up Payton Roberts, but return a ton of talent including 5 State Placers and 2 State Qualifiers. They were impressive in their run to 3rd at the state duals a year ago and if they can get a few others to step up and help the 7 … they will be tough to beat in 2024. Lincoln Bryant and Gage Ownby are the two seniors on the squad and they should lead the way. Hartselle has a talented junior class with Roberts, Falciani, Doshier, Schutt, and Willingham. We didn’t get a list of returners, but if Ethan Horne, Nolan Carroll, and Luke Sparks all return … they have post-season experience and could play an important role in how high Hartselle climbs in 2024. - SEWrestle
