Seckinger kicked off their first season with a bang. Coach Oldknow has been working a ton with the group and we expect big things from the Jags in year two. No … they aren’t ready to make a run for a state title yet, but they have already demonstrated the work ethic, perseverance, and talent needed to have a successful team. Year two will be more of the same … growth both as a team and as individuals. Jose Urdaneta-Silva qualified for sectionals as a freshman in 2023 and will look to take that next step in 2024. Seckinger returns quite a few with experience including Aiden Vasquez, Ben Hughett, Jayden Gary, Jordan Oldknow, and Xander Cleary, but it might be some new faces that make their mark this coming season. Keep an eye on newcomers Bilal Alejhha, Jamel Baggett, and Erich Drittlhuber as well as a handful of freshmen. Don’t be surprised to see Gabriel Perez, Becklan Guetry, Cameron Baggett, Drew Turenne, and Flavio Drittlhuber make some noise in their first season as a Jag. - SEWrestle
