If there is a team that can stop Cleveland’s run to another title … Summit is that team. The Spartans return an outstanding lineup that is headlined by a senior trio that are tough to beat. Jarvis Little and Landon Desselle are both hunting another individual title and Jensen Schreiber is looking for his first after taking 3rd in 2023. Little and Desselle are not only amongst the best in Tennessee, but both are amongst the top in the SE and ranked nationally. But the Spartans are far more than just a three-man wrecking crew. Brayden Leach and Mikey Posey each made the podium in 2023 and both will look to take that next step and claim a title in 2024. Blaise Masi and Zachery Little made the podium as freshmen and will look to climb higher in 2024 as well. With 7 returning placers, two of which won titles, Summit has the firepower to compete with anyone. But to knock off Cleveland and hold off the rest of 2A they will need returning State Qualifier Jayden McKinney, Peter Savarino, Noah Hajek, and Jackson Bourdon to step up and make an impact. If McKinney can make the podium and Summit can get Savarino, Hajek, and Bourdon to the big dance … 11 Spartans will be tough to beat in February. - SEWrestle
