The Knights graduate State Placer Isaiah Shevchook, but return the majority of their squad that made the state duals playoffs and finished 17th at the Traditional State Tournament. If the Knights can get returning Qualifiers Ion Hortinela and Keon Barrientos on the podium with returning placer Sebastian Bonachea … they could be knocking on the door of a top 10 finish. Bonachea made the podium as a freshman in 2023 and will be looking to climb his way to the top step in 2024. Connor Barnes, Evan Brown, and Jerimiah Baker also return with post-season experience. Don’t be surprised to see Coach DeToro topping the 4 qualifiers they had in 2023 with 5 or 6 in 2024. Keep an eye on Gha-is Cooper and Micah Caetano … both will look to break into the lineup this season as well. - SEWrestle
