Coach Sutherland returns nearly a full squad that won a traditional title a year ago and finished second in duals. They have to be considered one of the favorites to claim another title in 2024. The squad is led by 5 returning State Champions in Quinton and Braden Carroll, Maison Kleist, Blayne Patrick and Jordan Sherrod. The bottom part of the Bulldog lineup is stout with the Carroll’s and State Placers Chase Alspaugh and Colton Gilbert. Replacing State Placers Justin Bean and Hunter Rainer in the middle of the lineup seems to be the biggest challenge coming into the season. The strength of this team is that there is a nice mix of upperclassmen and sophomores and freshmen as well as a bevy of new faces that will look to step in when called upon. Keep an eye on a pair of freshmen in Cameron Sherrod Wyatt Mizelle as well as 8th grader Bradley Dronet, sophomore Beau Brown, and senior Logan Sellers. - SEWrestle
