State of the Program ... Tenoroc (FL)

Head Coach: Anthony Cerullo (5 years at Tenoroc; 7 overall)

The Titans finished just inside the top 25 in 2022 and given what they return this is a team that will look to not only climb into the top 20, but could push for a spot in the top 10. This is a team that will rely on their senior leadership - especially returning State Placers Darian Gillins and Kris Hunter as well as State Qualifier Branden Coleman. Gillins and Hunter will look to climb to the top step in Kissimmee and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Titans with 3 very high on the podium in 2023.

The key to the Titans pushing for a top 10 spot will be the continued development of Isia Riveria Coerderro and Asher Nestor. Both competed at regionals a year ago and both will look to punch their ticket to Kissimmee this season. Keep an eye on Killian Watson, Nehamiah Hooper, Raf Paz, and transfer Jocelyn Brodrick … each will look to make an impact this season.

We have added strength and size this summer! We are led by our 3 Senior SQ from last year. Kris Hunter 126 7th place, DJ Gillins 220 3rd place and Branden Coleman. 120 2x SQ. We were extremely young last year (9 1st year wrestlers in the line up) as we only lost 2 experienced seniors. If we continue to trust the process we can be a top 10 team in the state by seasons end. With multiple state medals again and maybe the schools first State Champ
