Timber Creek takes out Hagerty and Olympia to advance to the Elite 8

The Takeaway: This is the match we thought we’d get, but not sure the result we expected. Not that we didn’t think Timber Creek would win … we just expected it to be closer than 45-23. Hagerty led early, but it was Timber Creek’s lightweights that broke things open from 113 to 138. Hagerty forfeited at 113, but major decision wins by Marlo and Keegan Clark, a fall from Josue Batista, and a tough 12-8 decision win by Aidan Benson would end up being the difference in the dual. Timber Creek won 9 of 14 matches and had bonus in 5 of those to cruise into the Elite 8.
