Briarcrest features a solid junior class that will look to make some noise in 2024, but it is senior (and returning State Qualifier) Aidan Hydrick that will lead the way. Hydrick will look to climb onto the podium in 2024 and work to get some of teammates through to the big dance with him this coming season. Caleb Norman, Bryant Simpson and Preston McCormick all won matches at last year’s West Region and will look join Hydrick. The Briarcrest lineup should be set up top with Norman, Simpson, McCormick, Scott, Hydrick, Enamordo and others. The key for Briarcrest will be on the bottom half of the lineup. Kohl Vargas has post-season experience and coach Degani will look to Logan Jones, Tanner Hawkins, Luke Hydrick, and Brock Claunch to make some noise. Don’t be surprised to see four or five Briarcrest wrestlers on the mats at the end of the season. - SEWrestle
